AORBIS is a leading privately-owned U.S. building products supply company specializing in Division 08 & Division 10 of the CSI Master Specification. We are hiring a Product Design Manager to lead the design and development of CNC Machine, innovative building products, ensuring seamless integration of functionality, aesthetics, and performance.
Role Description:
The Product Design Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee the design process, production and ensure product alignment with market needs and company standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a keen eye for design detail to drive product innovation and excellence.
Job Location and Shift Timings:
- Ahmedabad (Siddhivinayak Towers, Makarba)
- 3 PM to 12 AM (Work from office)
- Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualization, design, and development of CNC machines and related products.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Analyze customer requirements to design innovative solutions tailored to industry needs.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, quality protocols, and industry regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of designs.
- Optimize product designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and durability.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior designers and engineers.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in CNC and mechatronics.
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine design and development.
Skill Set
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of control systems, actuators, and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Should have knowledge in Embedded Systems, with hands-on experience in ESP, Arduino, and various microcontrollers. Expertise includes FreeRTOS, Analog and Digital signals, Pulse Modulation, and multitasking functionality in microcontroller applications. Knowledge of robot kinematics and inverse kinematics
- Familiarity with programming languages for CNC control (e.g., G-code) and PLC integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present ideas clearly.

- Willingness to travel within or outside India to meet different manufacturers/vendors
- Candidates with prior experience in plant mechatronics will be given preference.
